Biomorphism = art movement focusing on naturally occurring patterns and shapes of living organisms

 

We believe in the power of dance to express the physical, mental, and emotional complexities of living organism we are most familar with, humans! Dance has an intricate and intimate connection with the human experience: the power to heal, the power to transform, and the power to impact. We are seeking emerging and established choreographers to showcase work in the FIFTH Biomorphic Dance Festival that believe in the passion and power of dance! 

 

Selected choreographers and dance companies can present up to 15 minutes of work at the black box style setting of the Harlem Repertory Theatre. In addition, each choreographer will receive a 20 minute tech slot on their performance day, photos for personal publicity, and a video link.
